Edible plants are lovely in the landscape, and useful in many ways. They offer color, fragrance, food for us and food for the beneficial insects. Many are drought and deer-resistant. Find out Jody's favorite foundation landscape herbs, climbers, ground covers and edibles that reseed and regenerate each year. Special attention will be given to the many varieties of lavender, with samples to see. Everyone will take home a 6-pack of planted edible landscape plants from seed and cuttings and enjoy a cup of Jody's Organic Garden Tea. Class includes Jody's Edible Landscape Plant Work list. Jody is a local food and garden writer, educator and consultant. Her specialty is designing organic vegetable, herb and berry gardens.
